Veronica- General Manager
Veronica is a dedicated and passionate dental professional with over two decades of experience in the field. As the General Manager of Family Dental of Palatine and Avid Dental in Mount Prospect, She has spent the last five years leading teams with vision and expertise. Con 17 years as a Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator and Dental Insurance Specialist, Veronica brings a wealth of knowledge and a patient centered approach to her work.
Her lifelong commitment to dentistry is matched by her devotion to her young daughter and family. En su tiempo libre, Veronica enjoys traveling, cheering at sporting events, and creating cherished memories with loved ones.
Paula- Administrative Assistant
Paula boasts over 10 years of experience in the dental field, though she recently joined our team in May 2021. She is here to help our patients with their insurance and financial questions, make people smile, and walk our patients through their dental treatment.
Paula is a family oriented person who likes attending sports events, going on walks and hiking. She enjoys spending her free time reading and learning as much as she can. She looks forward to helping more patients achieve better oral hygiene!
Rachel- Registered Dental Hygienist
Rachel graduated from Kennedy King College in 2007 and joined our team in June 2021. She has attended every class at the UIC College of Dentistry and is licensed to administer local anesthetic. Rachel has experience as a dental assistant, an office manager and now, a dental hygienist. She treats each patient with the same concern, respect and empathy she would her own family.
Rachel is a single mother to her 13-year-old daughter, Danielle. She has four parrots and a dog, and she maintains an active lifestyle that includes the gym, rollerblades, skiing and her Harley Davidson motorcycle. She was featured in the June 2014 issue of the ADHA magazine “Acceso” for her eight years of experience in treating patients with special needs.
Maily- Ayudante de dentista
Maily began her journey in dentistry studying in Cuba, where I quickly discovered my passion for oral health care. That love for the field inspired me to continue my education and career here, where I’ve had the privilege of helping patients feel more confident and comfortable through their smiles. Whether it’s relieving pain or working alongside them to achieve their dental goals, I truly enjoy making a positive impact in people’s lives.
Outside the office, I love spending time in the kitchen—especially when it comes to baking sweet treats—and unwinding with a good video game.
Lucy- Ayudante de dentista
Lucy enjoys working in the dental field because every day brings something new to learn, no procedure or patient is ever the same. She has gained valuable experience assisting with a wide range of treatments, from preventive care and cleanings to restorative and cosmetic procedures. Lucy takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable in the chair, making their visits smooth and stress-free, and being part of a team that creates healthy, confident smiles.
When she’s not at work, Lucy loves spending quality time with her daughter. Juntos, they enjoy visiting the park, exploring all that Chicago has to offer, and making the most of summertime activities.
